You can use indiereads to search for a book by title, author or ISBN.

The app will then find you pricing and availability information, plus a synopsis of the book and review information where available.

If you have a copy of the book you want to hand, you can even just scan the barcode for extra convenience - the app will do the rest.

Indiereads also keeps a history of books you look at, for easy later reference.

Indiereads also makes it easy to find your local independent bookshop - you can search by UK post code, or you can choose to view shops based on your current location.

Please note that indiereads does not cover e-books.
